Taking inspiration from folk, metal, pop, indie, electronic and almost every other corner of the musical spectrum; I write music to connect with the mind and soul.
Throughout the years I’ve played in various bands, typically alternating between guitar, vocals and drums, before venturing out on my own as a solo artist under the moniker ‘Steve and the Sea’. Under this name I have released singles and EPs that have been warmly received by a small but dedicated fanbase around the world.
Hypnotic and entrancing with a stop-you-in-your-tracks vocal

Vivien Kerrin and I first met shortly after I moved to Hamburg and came together to write a folk song about a space telescope. Since then, we have been building up our live presence across Hamburg, playing shows at Harburg Fischahalle and Hafenbahnhof.
Our music takes inspiration from traditional folk, Americana, and songwriters of the 60s.
It’s a beautiful exploration and unlike anything you’ve ever heard. Give it a spin and enjoy the adventure.
