Careers Service Introduction

This animation was produced to introduce students at the University of Sheffield to their Careers Service. It gives a brief overview of what the service provides and how students can use it throughout their degree and beyond.

Taking cues from the service’s recent rebrand, I designed the animation to use white outlines on coloured backgrounds, however this created some difficulties within After Effects when it came to scaling. To ensure line weights stayed the same throughout the animation, I created a custom After Effects expression that linked the line weight to the size, ensuring that whenever a layer was scaled, it’s line weight would stay the same.
