New Ghost visualisers

With 3D space and gentle animation, these single covers come to life in these music visualisers.

New Ghost have been building a name for themselves on the UK post-rock scene for the last few years. Close friends of mine, I've been enjoying their music and it's been so nice to watch them grow from their humble beginnings; emerging from the ashes of a selection of the best Sheffield bands. In fact, I was there at the very first practice together and almost joined the band myself, but had to hand over my position as I was due to move away.

So when Chris came to me and asked if I could produce some animated visualisers and lyric videos for the band, I was happy to be able to finally put my mark on the band. Especially after I saw the amazing single artwork supplied by Wou Wou and the Wormling.

For these videos, I took apart the supplied Photoshop files and arranged them in 3D space, to give the scene depth. Then with some displacement, particles and camera movement, I brought the scenes to life, along with some text animation to introduce the lyrics.
