In 2015, having somewhat established myself on the local music scene in Sheffield, I set out to record and release my first EP. I initiated this with a fund raising campaign, offering limited edition rewards for donations, ranging from hand made CDs to t-shirts and hoodies, right up to private home concerts. In January 2016, I finally released 'Stay Dry, Stay Warm'.
I wrote, performed, recorded and produced the EP entirely by myself in my bedroom. 'Stay Dry, Stay Warm' allowed me to venture deeper into the tonality and style of my own music as I moved away from looping acoustic guitar. Tracks like Unchanged, Tripwire and Ghost Girl featured layers of electric guitars, electronic drums and synths, as well as layers of harmonised vocals. The whole process helped me define my sound
